Tongue and grooved breadboard
style tops are the prime element of this otherwise simple lined series.
13⁄8" thick planks are tediously milled and grooved to just the right specs, then hand selected for the right combination of planks. These planks are laid side by side, and then the end piece is selected and fitted. Finally holes are drilled and a maple peg with a special cut oak wedge is inserted. The result is a beautiful, slightly rustic, tongue and groove, and pegged top that will never crack or warp. Add the tapered legs, and wrought iron cup handle and this series provides an old farmhouse look and feel.
