My name is Joanne Scara, owner/operator of Farmstead Amish Furniture. We go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. This means helping you solve your decorating dilemmas by listening to your goals then applying our design expertise and product knowledge to find solutions that will make you smile.

While operating a marketing and web design company,  I had the opportunity to support an Amish furniture store. After seeing and experiencing the beauty of their finely handcrafted solid wood furniture, I knew I was hooked. With frequent trips to Amish Country to meet with builders and attend trade shows things quickly progressed to a full time gig.

After the owner retired, my husband and I decided to start our own business with a focus on both local and nationwide customers.

Our furniture concept is unique in that we operate a small location inside a multi-vendor marketplace called Trend and Relic in St. Charles, Illinois. Here we have a small selection of furniture pieces for presentation and feature a Custom Design Center complete with full collections of cataloged builder offerings, wood samples, upholstery fabrics, stain colors and other specialty finish examples.

In addition to the Custom Design Center in St. Charles, our two website portals (https://farmsteadamishfurniture.com and https://farmsteadbarnwoodfurniture.com) offer a full range of furniture options across a multitude of styles and price points shipped locally and nationwide.
